| Sumario: | Abstract: In this paper we compare the queuing
disciplines FIFO, Priority Queuing (PQ), Custom Queuing
(CQ) and Weighted Fair Queuing (WFQ), with self-similar and
long-range dependent traffic, through experimental
measurements with routers. We take into account two realtime
video streaming traffics: one of high quality and other of
low quality. We use SNMP MIBS supported by the routers and
we select the objets for monitoring the queues in the routers.
We apply the self-similar statistics of the traffics in the
parameter configurations and comparisons of QoS are given.
We measure the mean jitter, the maximum jitter and the
packet loss in the receivers. |
