Sumario:This research explores how innovative project management influences operational efficiency and organizational sustainability during the shift toward virtual or hybrid models in Ecuadorian universities. Grounded in theories by Drucker, Schumpeter, and the OECD Oslo Manual, the study employs a quantitative, cross-sectional design using surveys targeted at administrative staff. While data collection is pending, the research anticipates that agile and hybrid methodologies will correlate with greater adaptability and sustainable outcomes. The study aims to inform institutional strategies by highlighting how flexible project management can support digital transformation, improve decision-making, and foster more resilient organizations.
