| Sumario: | Using a few of psychoanalitic concepts I’ll try to articulate, to explain and to precise the relationship between mother and son in the work El desatino by Griselda Gambaro and its relationship with “the appliance”. With that objective in mind, I’ll take some concepts like paternal function, symptom, jouissance and capitoné point. Each one of them will be explain in an introductory way. Theappliance that grips Alfonso’s foot is thought as a symptom of the enclosing and incestuous relationship between mother and son. The “niño” character is thought as situated in the same structural place as Alfonso, and the “muchacho” is placed as a weak father. |
