We map and present them together as part of the same history, memory, and performance tradition. Based in new cultural geography, we stress the fundamental importance of the urban past to an understanding of the present, and recognize it as a terrain in continuous symbolic and social reconstruction. For this reason, we analyze two instances of dérives (and their respective affective maps of the Microcentro and Abasto neighborhoods) in which the immaterial theatrical past became, at the same time, permanent. The dérive is a theoretical-practical and political tool, capable of providing other possible collective narratives about the urbanscape. It allows us to inhabit the territories that surround us in a non-neutral way, to look at and navigate the city again, to analyze and recognize past disputes and hegemonies that have emerged within the public space, and to attend to more current figurations of urban and national patrimony. In this way, the dérive, the map, and patrimony become the analytical basis for the following articulation of memory that is theatrical, urban, and up-to-date. En este trabajo realizaremos un mapeo y relevamiento de teatros de la ciudad de Buenos Aires, oscilando entre los que permanecen materialmente hoy en la ciudad junto a los que ya no. Nos proponemos cartografiarlos y traerlos al presente conjuntamente como parte de una misma historia, memoria y tradición escénica. Partiendo de la nueva geografía cultural, apostamos a reconocer la importancia fundamental del pasado urbano para el entendimiento del presente, como un terreno en continua reconstrucción simbólica y social. Por ello retomaremos dos casos de derivas (y sus respectivos mapas afectivos por el Microcentro y el Abasto) en las que el pasado teatral inmaterial se volvió, a la vez, permanente. La deriva entendida como herramienta teórica-práctica, pero también política, capaz de aportar otras narraciones colectivas posibles sobre lo urbano, dejándonos apropiarnos de los territorios que nos rodean de forma no neutral. Volver a mirar y transitar la ciudad, analizar y reconocer disputas y hegemonías pasadas devenidas dentro del espacio público, y desde allí atender a configuraciones urbanas y patrimoniales más actuales. De esta manera, la deriva, el mapa y el patrimonio serán los eslabones analíticos para articular una memoria teatral, urbana y vigente.
