| Sumario: | Theater production in the city of Tandil, Buenos Aires, has been diverse and continuous since the beginning of the 20th century. However, dramaturgy was scarce or non-existent until the mid-1970s, when two playwrights: Raúl Echegaray (1953) and Julio Varela (1953) began their prolific and consequent careers in theater writing. Currently and since the beginning of the 21st century, local drama has increased and diversified. An example of this, among others, is the work of the playwrights María Elena Nemi and Catalina Landivar that we will present in the following work. |
