description As a result of an adult-centered and colonial sociocultural heritage, children are thought of as pre-social persons, lacking knowledge, and projected into the future. This causes impediments to the production of scientific knowledge with children, mainly due to the difficulty in overcoming the dominance of the pseudo-natural pair adulthood-childhood. Therefore, it is not unusual that those who usually report on the problems and interests of childhood are usually adults. Theoretical-epistemological and technical-methodological challenges are discussed at the moment of researching with children. We propose the use of four methodological techniques to produce stories with children: talking drawing, mapping, the story of unfinished situations and social theater. We seek to promote studies that articulate together with children a hybrid place, a third space, where influences of a dominant and a subordinate sociocultural model are filtered and permeate, and where alternative societies are built.

We seek to promote studies that articulate together with children a hybrid place, a third space, where influences of a dominant and a subordinate sociocultural model are filtered and permeate, and where alternative societies are built. Producto de una herencia sociocultural adultocentrada, se idea a niñes como personas presociales, carentes de saberes y proyectadas hacia un futuro. Esto provoca impedimentos al producir conocimiento científico con la infancia, debido principalmente a la dificultad en superar el dominio del par pseudonatural adultez-niñez. Es por ello que, habitualmente, quienes informan respecto de problemáticas e intereses de la niñez sean personas adultas. En este trabajo se discuten los desafíos teórico-epistemológicos y técnico-metodológicos al momento de investigar con infancias. Proponemos el uso de cuatro tácticas metodológicas con las que producir relatos con las infancias en contextos educativos: el dibujo parlante, el mapeo colectivo, el relato de situaciones inconclusas y el teatro social. Se busca promover estudios que articulen en conjunto con las infancias un lugar híbrido, un tercer espacio, donde se filtran y permean influencias de un modelo sociocultural dominante, y uno subordinado, y se construyan sociedades alternativas. Como resultado de uma herança sociocultural colonial e centrada no adulto, as crianças são vistas como pessoas pré-socializadas, carentes de conhecimento e projetadas para o futuro. Isso causa impedimentos à produção de conhecimento científico com crianças, principalmente devido à dificuldade de superar o domínio do par pseudo-natural adulto-infância. Portanto, não é incomum que geralmente sejam os adultos que relatam as questões e os interesses das crianças. Discutimos os desafios teórico-epistemológicos e técnico-metodológicos da pesquisa com crianças. Propomos o uso de quatro técnicas metodológicas para produzir histórias com crianças: desenho falado, mapeamento, história de situações inacabadas e teatro social. Buscamos promover estudos que articulem junto com as crianças, um lugar híbrido, um terceiro espaço, onde as influências de um modelo sociocultural dominante e subordinado são filtradas e permeiam, e onde sociedades alternativas são construídas.
