| Sumario: | This is an exploratory field research whose main objective is to analyze the homophobic violence that occurs among higher level students of the University Center for Administrative Economic Sciences (CUCEA) of the University of Guadalajara (UdeG) and how it is perceived among men and the meanings they give to it in their daily coexistence. This made it possible to identify the incidence of homophobia at this educational level through interviews taken from a convenience sample of 532 male persons. The probability sample was processed with descriptive statistical techniques and the interviews were conducted from February to September 2022. The evidence found shows us not only its existence, but also the specific nuances that this reality acquires in the field of post-pandemic higher education. |
