Sumario:The article offers a reflection about educational issues in French secondary education, through various devices implemented in high schools. It questions the reality of an educational turning point in the light of different tensions, and also by relating it to an investigation of a particular device, the artistic and cultural education projects, studied in Paris and in the department of Seine Saint -Denis. The article ends by proposing to renew the critical look at school, by articulating current social criticism, centered on educational inequalities, with an educational criticism centered on adulthood becoming in a society that promotes singularity and diversity.
