| Sumario: | This article aims to interpret the meanings that are built on friendship in school sociability from the perspective of high school students. We develop the characteristics of this affective bond taking into account the living conditions of modernity marked by emotional isolation between individuals. Then we analyze youth narratives collected in a socio-educational research carried out in two peripheral urban schools in the Province of Buenos Aires. The results of the study give an account of how friendship relationships between generational peers enable the processing of fear, loneliness and shame that crosses the student condition. |
