| Sumario: | Leonilda Barrancos lived in Córdoba not more than sixteen years leaving an imprint that surely has not yet explored sufficiently. She came from a fairly intense battle in the teaching area in Buenos Aires, where she joined the Argentine Rationalist League working alongside prominent teachers like Julio Barcos. The principles of the Active School were the guide of its actions, becoming a critical person of the passivity in which students were maintained, exaggerated memorization, verbalism and especially the lack of adequate preparation of teachers. |
