| Sumario: | Based on an oral account of the history of Casabindo and the construction of its church, the article explores in various sources a possible course of the communal lands of Casabindo and Cochinoca from the 17th to the 19th centuries. Process studied widely by historiography, but to which an attempt is made to provide new data, especially those referring to the location and extension of these lands, their relationship with the brotherhoods and possible strategies of the former community members to avoid losing them in the first half of the 19th century. |
