Finally, there is a short critical exercise about the dominant approaches of book historiography in Argentina. Análisis de los principales rasgos de los cambios verificados en las aproximaciones actuales de la historia del libro. Se subraya la importancia adoptada por la lectura y la recepción de los textos como una superación de las perspectivas centradas en la descripción y en los datos cuantitativos. La obra de Roger Chartier es considerada como significativa en este cambio, y se emplean sus aportes para sistematizar las aproximaciones implicadas en la historia cultural concerniente a los materiales impresos. Por último, se esboza brevemente un ejercicio de crítica de los enfoques utilizados en la historiografía del libro en la Argentina.
