Studying the trajectory followed by information, rumors, and testimonies (real and fictional), during the first years of the military dictatorship in Chile (1973-1975), we seek to describe which spaces, actors, and media were involved in the fabrication of this crime as a transnational event. At the same time, we seek to understand the specificity of a story centered on the punishment of the singer-songwriter’s body. |
