The bourdieuan approach on wich we built our proyect and the closeness to educative etnograhies such as those of Elsie Rockwell in Mexico and María Rosa Neufeld in Argentina will help us in this attempt on “the historización of ethnography at present time" The following notes have allowed us to lay foundations, to explain decisions both theoretical and methodological, and to face the problems and confusion of analyzing the present time, a conflicting and complex one, in wich history is always involved. En este trabajo nos proponemos reflexionar acerca de la importancia que la dimensión histórica asume en un proyecto de Investigación que se refiere a la problemática de la Educación como Estrategia de Reproducción Social en familias de origen campesino. El enfoque Bourdieuano desde el cual construimos nuestro proyecto y el acercamiento a etnografías educativas como las de Elsie Rockwell, en México, y las de María Rosa Neufeld, en Argentina, nos ayudan en este intento de “historización del presente etnográfico” Las notas que siguen nos han permitido poner en el papel fundamentos, explicitar decisiones teóricas y metodológicas y volver a enfrentar las dificultades y desconciertos que supone analizar un presente contradictorio, complejo y que siempre incorpora historia.
