Sumario:In this work we intend to think about the importance of the historical dimension in investigation proyects on education as a strategy for social reproduction in rural families. The bourdieuan approach on wich we built our proyect and the closeness to educative etnograhies such as those of Elsie Rockwell in Mexico and María Rosa Neufeld in Argentina will help us in this attempt on “the historización of ethnography at present time" The following notes have allowed us to lay foundations, to explain decisions both theoretical and methodological, and to face the problems and confusion of analyzing the present time, a conflicting and complex one, in wich history is always involved.
