| Sumario: | This article is related to an investigation on the political treatment of the issue of urban security. This investigation opens with the inquiry on the debates and the process of this subject. The objective of the second part is to analyze this issue keeping in mind the proposals on security in Buenos Aires and how the security problem is being discussed. Our main question is why and how, during a certain period, the issue of urban security becomes a significant social problem. We are especially interested in analyzing the social relations involved in putting the issue on the political agenda, in the political and social frame of the City of Buenos Aires during the last few years. |
