Along this paper we focus on two residential areas included in the modern urban planning. On the one hand, we take a look at public housing built in the central area of the historical modern city. On the other hand, we analyzed the gates communities built in periferical areas of the recent modern city. In both case, we concentrate on urban images elaborated by their residents.
