Sumario:The true size of historian Marc Bloch and should not be measured by what he wrote and researched but so inspired to write and research. Its most important historiographical production lies in the interwar period. After serving in the war of 14, reaching the rank of captain with four honorable mentions embraced the pen with the same ardor with which he had taken up arms. During the Second World War once again defending the homeland took him away from his job as a historian. In the Great War, Marc Bloch was among the first people who enlisted to stop the German advance.
