Sumario:The author analyzes what happened after the recovery of democracy in Argentina in 1983: the trial of the military "juntas" that usurped power in 1976, the truth commission created by President Alfonsín, the international repercussions of these measures, the laws of due obedience and "full stop" enacted later, the validity of those laws, reparations for the victims of the dictatorship, the pardons of President Menem in 1989 and 1990, which led to the closure of the cases against the military, and its subsequent reopening in the 2000s
