| Sumario: | The main research issue of the present Thesis is related with the characterization of the conditions in which the population of the Greater Buenos Aires Agglomerate (AGBA) - made out by the City of Buenos Aires (C.A.B.A.) plus twenty four near-lying local jurisdictions of the Great Buenos Aires (GBA)- accesses the various health coverage systems, and the asymmetries and inequities that persist from the last decade of the XXth century up to the present, immersed within a referential set of circumstances beginning in the early forties as a contextual starting point of the current reality.\nFor this purpose we position ourselves within a hypothetical-deductivistic epistemic framework, as well as in the qualitative-quantitative option, as long as the information mentioned becomes accessible.\nLikewise we investigate the existing relation between the offer of health coverage presented by the various existing subsystems and how it has mutated in the time lapse considered, involving indicators related to items such as population, health, and health coverage that tend to support the correctness of our hypotheses.\nConsequently, we list a universe of presumptive variables/indicators through which the research process will proceed, based on the Census Series 1991-2001-2010, addressing socioeconomic features that constitute the so-called "social determinants of health", as well as -based on the condition of the population- the indicator of NBI (Unsatisfied Basic Needs) and income, which, although it might not be the most adequate choice regarding the structural shortcomings faced by the population, it is the most feasible in the present level and context of analysis.\nThrough the mentioned diagnosis procedure, we will finally arrive to a series of conclusions that in order to enable ourselves and others the continuity of the present research from some set of diverse treatment perspectives. |
