Sumario:In present work it was be possible to develop different scaffolds with multiple functionalities for skin tissue engineering. During the different developments, various biomaterials and nanomaterials were combined in order to take advantage of their properties.\nLiposomes were used to improve the biocompatibility and solubility of an antimicrobial peptide (Gramicidin S). On the other hand, we worked with collagen that promotes wound healing and combined it with silver nanoparticles and cannabis sativa oil to ensure that this scaffold had broad-spectrum antimicrobial activity and antioxidant capacity. The biocompatibility of the developed material was improved with this interesting combination\nIn addition, liposomes loaded with silver nanoparticles were developed and incorporated into collagen gels, achieving a less explosive ion release. This material has interesting antimicrobial properties and high biocompatibility.\nFinally, a new and promising technique, 3D bioprinting, was explored. A bioink of alginate and gelatin was developed, which allowed the printing of three-dimensional structures. This material presented an extremely interesting porosity to load active ingredients.\nAll the materials and techniques used allowed each development to be improved, enhancing its application and opening the door to new treatment strategies.
