Sumario:Title: Analysis of the recognition and protection of cultural diversity in the legal field of the ECHR and in the work of the ECtHR. -- Abstract: In this paper we present a study on the recognition of cultural diversity in the European legal sphere and the protection that it is granted therein. The European field is a complex and challenging reality for the intercultural management of cultural diversity, to face this we have focused on analyzing the treatment of the issue that has been carried out within the scope of the European Convention for the Protection of the Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms (ECHR), especially in the work of definition and subsequent interpretation that the European Court of Human Rights (ECtHR) has carried out. Thus, this analysis will not be limited to commenting on the recognition of cultural diversity included in the rights included in the ECHR, but also focuses on the protection of cultural diversity developed by the ECtHR, especially the concept of indirect discrimination, dedicating complete sections to the examination of the jurisprudence prepared by this court in its task of protecting cultural diversity.
