Sumario:Title: The effective Protection of International Migrant's Rights in the IHRS under The Equal Protection Principle, limits and exhortations to Regional States' Migration Policies. -- Abstract: This article aims to analyze and discuss the scope and content of equal protection principle in its application for effective protection of international migrants' rights under the Inter-American Human Rights System's doctrine and jurisprudence. In the first introductory part, we place the protection of migrants' rights within a new paradigm of human rights, in which international and regional treaties' monitoring bodies play an important role. Following, we analyze the regional context of the states that belong to the IHRS and some characteristics of their migratory dynamics. In a second part, we describe and synthesize the main interpretations, and scope of the equal protection principle, in force in the IHRS, and then, we introduce some of its projections on migration subjects. There, we explore and analyze the standards developed by regional human rights bodies, we ponder their breadth and permanent evolution in a consolidation of a clear doctrine and jurisprudence that protects rights and that acts as a limit and at the same time as an exhortation to migration estate's policies.
