Sumario:Title: The Resignification of the State in the Light of Regional Integration. -- Abstract: The author begins by conceptualizing the modern Nation -State, its constituent elements and the implications that globalization has brought with it. She then goes on to define and differentiate the concepts of intergovernmentality and supranationality and those of International Law and Community Law in order to understand the extent to which States are being transformed by the processes of regional integration.
