Sumario:Abstract: This article describes the social responsibility of the Law School of the Universidad de Buenos Aires in an unequal society in which it is immersed, from an approach that was traditionally known as the university social mission, from the perspective provided by Risieri Frondizi, in his work: La Universidad en un mundo de tensiones: misión de las universidades en América Latina [The University in a World of Tensions: The mission of the universities in Latin America], because beyond the time spent here I will show why his legacy is still valid. Through this approach, it will be shown that university social responsibility aims to redefine the concept of traditional social mission, emphasizing university extension. As a conclusion, the role of University in society will be exemplified and how it acts accordingly by implementing activities in that space, to contribute to the social improvement of the country as it was proclaimed in the spirit of the university statute.
