| Sumario: | This article aims to present, in a summarized way, some of the legal and administrative instruments present in Brazilian legislation and to discuss the problem of the implementation of relevant instruments for urban development policies and the promotion of territorial and environmental justice in Brazil. especially in the provisions of the City Statute (Law 10.257 / 01). Some of the main fiscal and tax instruments, legal and political institutes for the induction of urban development, the implementation of the principle of democratic management of the city and the instruments for the regularization of land tenure will be briefly presented, and, finally, a brief evaluation of urban development policies in Brazil and the possibility of promoting territorial justice. |
