| Sumario: | This work contributes to the knowledge on the management of water services in the home jurisdiction of Argentina: the province of Buenos Aires. This is a public service whose access is a human right of utmost importance to the health of the population, economic development and protection of water resources. In Argentina?s performance is the responsibility of sub-national levels of government, except for the autonomous city of Buenos Aires and a group of municipalities in the province of Buenos Aires. The study of this service recently gained importance in the nineties of the twentieth century. The choice of the province of Buenos Aires is linked, first because it is a jurisdiction which involved all three levels of government in the provision; second from territorial inequality that characterizes access to services; and third the few records that place look at. |
