| Sumario: | The aim of this paper is to present and comment the environmental legal regime concerning glaciers in Argentina. In this sense, rules governing this issue will be analyzed, as the law of basic requirements of glaciers and the periglacier environment, as well as some provincial laws so as to identify its congruence in conformity with the constitutional duty and the legal hierarchy established as regards environmental protection. We will make a short diagnosis evaluation in order to conclude if regulation is applied and complied with, basically, if the law of basic requirements of glaciers and the periglacier environment is a sustainable law, or which is the way that we should follow so that it becomes a sustainable law. |
