Sumario:In Uruguay, there is no administrative procedure law, but the common administrative procedure and disciplinary procedures are regulated by an administrative regulation, approved by the Executive Branch Decree No. 500/991 of September 27, 1991. This Decree recognizes a set of principles and regulates the traditional development of the procedure by conventional means. Subsequent legal and regulatory provisions, after recognizing the validity and effectiveness of the electronic document and the electronic signature, have enabled the conduction of the procedure by electronic means.
