Sumario:This paper analyzes the impact of ICTs in the administrative procedure in Argentina. It addresses the main guidelines for the implementation of the so-called "Digital Government" in general, and particularly the specific rules on digital administrative procedure. The adoption of the digital procedure brings in addition the requirement to carry out a new systemic analysis and evaluate a reengineering of processes, requirements and regulations, tending to simplify and streamline the administrative procedure and the State activity itself, with a view to rebalancing and enhancing the "aureus iusadministrative balance": to make a State that is more effective in its role as guarantor of the common good, and tending to guarantee the rights of citizens.
