Sumario:The purpose of this article is to analyze the implementation of Information and Communication Technologies within Public Administration, from the perspective of the United Nations, the Organization of American States and the Latin-American Centre for Development Administration. After a brief description of the international approach concerning sustainable development and e-government implementation, it is analyzed how multiple norms in Argentina reflect soft law international standards. Thereafter, a diagnosis of the path taken towards "digital governance" is provided, as well as of its upcoming challenges and opportunities.
