| Sumario: | The specific context of protected natural areas in relation to projects that consider the integration of visitors and the promotion of scientific and educational programs, requires specific guidelines for approximation and design, with the aim of protecting and preserving the natural heritage, through the control and minimization of the negative impacts associated with human activities generated mainly by buildings in environmentally sensitive and vulnerable environments. In this context, this research presents the initiative to promote specific guidelines for construction in Protected Areas, such as the National Parks, through the development of sustainability parameters to be implemented in new projects and the development of extension activities, as an innovative contribution through of the rating of the system. The Nahuel Huapi National Park, located in the Argentine Patagonia, offers a relevant basis to study the habitat built and the possible procedures to apply environmental principles and sustainable building criteria, and to evaluate suitability criteria that allow measuring and qualifying new projects.
The thesis thus emphasizes the importance of proposing innovative approaches of effective application to minimize the impacts of construction in sensitive natural environments, within the framework of sustainability in architecture. |
