Sumario:"The members of the International Law Commission were first elected in November 1948, and since then, nine meetings have been held. In the field of the codification and development of international law, the Commission has considered the following topics: arbitration procedure, the regime of the high seas, the regime of the territorial sea, and nationality. The law of treaties, the international responsibility of states, and the regime of diplomatic immunities are the topics selected for subsequent consideration. Most of the sessions, especially in its early period, were devoted by the Commission to working on tasks entrusted to it by the General Assembly, such as the formulation of the Nuremberg Principles, international criminal jurisdiction, the draft Declaration of the Rights and Duties of States, the preliminary draft of the Code of Crimes against Peace and Security of Humanity, the progressive development of international law and its codification in the Charter of the United Nations, and the definition of aggression"
