Sumario:The research of the legal science in Latin America is abundant, but scarcely distributed, since the channels of display and impact are designed for the hard sciences. In this context, research is subject to evaluation criteria in order to measure its quality in the search for recognition and academic and professional promotion. However, the absence of objective criteria to evaluate the finished piece of research in the science of law, results in lower level of impact. Therefore, we address the need to establish proper evaluation parameters from doctoral research in law.
