Sumario:The Mercosur, since its inception, was a constant concern for the recognition of qualifications obtained abroad from a State Party or Associate to block, so as to facilitate the citizen Mercosur's validation of their diplomas, as well as the continuing training in their studies, from different educational levels. We can see that there is a real inflation of instruments on the block, trying to regulate the matter of recognition of degrees and diplomas, issued in the countries of the Mercosur. However, most of the problems do not lie in the recognition of qualifications of primary and secondary education, but in recognition of undergraduate and graduate students, in relation to which legal instruments, mostly are not in place or, if they are, contribute little to the solution of the problem. In such protocols and agreements, their strengths and weaknesses, we will this time.
