Bidart Campos, organized by the National University of Rosario, Faculty of Law, Center for Research in Legal Philosophy and Social Philosophy, between March 31 and April 1, 2005, at the Rosario Bar Association Auditorium; sponsored by the Department of Philosophy and Social Sciences, Faculty of Law, UNR; the Argentine Association of Philosophy of Law; the Werner Goldschmidt Institute for Specialized and Interdisciplinary Legal Research of the Foundation for Legal Research, and the Center for Research in the Law of the Elderly, Faculty of Law, UNR. This article was originally published in the Constitutional Law Supplement, La Ley law journal, 2005- D-1236/1241 (ISSN 0224-1636). In this version, syntactical, semantic, and morphological aspects have been adjusted, respecting the original spirit of these letters while maintaining, of course, the belief in them. A non-exhaustive list of Germán Bidart Campos's bibliography from 1964 to the present has also been added as a final section. -- Germán J. Bidart Campos made an overall description and valuation of Constitutional. I believe these words. Law in Argentina. His research covered such fields as jurisprudence, history, political science and literature. This work highlights aspects of his liberal humanism, with a strong egalitarian component. The author focuses on Bidart Campos' friendship, knowledge and scientific production. In connection with this last aspect, escaping reductionism and any intentions to cover everything, twenty basic or seminal ideas are chosen which form the theoretical foundations of this legal scholar. Reference is also made to part of his written production, resulting from more than fifty years of scientific meditation and realization. |
