Sumario:The aim of this essay is to propose the use of law journals, mainly those which are about case law, as an educational tool to study the development of law and legal thinking, object of Legal History, and understand entirely the legal phenomenon in any of the subjects taught in a Faculty or Department of law in the university sphere. The argument presented here consider the argentine experience, but they may be also used in other countries.
