| Sumario: | The debate on the content and methods in the teaching of Law has reached renovated present time in the international context marked by the Declaration of Bologna 1999. This work contributes an analysis on the tendencies and existent pathologies in the university teaching of Law, the achievements experienced in Cuba, with emphasis in the work of the Law School of the University of East with views to overcome the traditional dogmatic teaching and to achieve a balance among the different components of the educational process. This article also offers a diagnosis on the dilemmas that derive from the official proposal of reformation to the study plans that it is inspired by the Declaration of Bologna, being verified that there would be positive changes, others without big implications, according to the advances reached by Cuba as for teaching methods, but challenges are also generated like it will be it to guarantee to achieve a new curricular design under the reduction from the Law career to four years, with which the levels of quality are not affected achieved in the formation of the jurists, another challenge constitutes it to satisfy the necessities of professors and students as for NTIC, and the amplification of the offer of academic graduate degree. |
