Sumario:This article revolves around the topic of the Right to Education from a perspective of internationalization of schooling. To make the argument more complex, the article proposes to analyze the historical process by which schooling became an analogue for education and thus provide a better understanding of the problems that can be solved by schooling and those that cannot. The Latin American situation regarding the extension of schooling is provided as an example of the scope and limits of dealing with the Right to Education from the perspective of the Right to Schooling.
