| Sumario: | The present contribution is intended to explore, from a historical point of view, the way religion is considered under Argentine law. Therefore, the following key cycles were identified: 1) the pre-constitutional stage (1810- 1853); 2) from the "historical Constitution" to the "First Coup d'État" (1853- 1930); 3) from the "First Coup d'État" to the "Return to the democratic process" (1930-1983); 4) from the "Return to the democratic process" up to date (1983-2019). The prepared analysis also emphasizes the description of the political and social aspects that took place in the mentioned periods. In addition, a research is made about the reception of the religious matter by the Argentine provinces. |
