| Sumario: | In Argentina the criminal process took on its own characteristics after the Independence, assuming some of the functions and elements of the Europeans and Anglo-Americans criminal processes, but not having others that were crucial, suffering then a continuous lack of political legitimacy. In this paper, this issue is analyzed with a case study that happened during the period of foundation of our criminal justice system, showing the interruptions and continuities with the criminal justice system at the colonial period. |
