Sumario:Emotion is a traditional subject in Philosophy related to gender stereotypes. This paper studies it in regards to an extreme form of violence: femicide. It is a paradox that this quality, traditionally attributed to women, is the reason for men not to comply with the sentences related to this crime. Extreme gender violence happens in a sentimental relationship based on possession. It is used as an attenuating circumstance since it affects responsibility and intentions. The paper also discusses the relationship between emotions and bodies and genders.
