| Sumario: | Deficiencies or lack of health information systems is an international problem. This thesis outlines the loss of information in most of the private sector and in medical insurances in Argentina´s healthcare system.\nIt seeks to outline a solution to the problem of private notification to health surveillance system through explaining the basis of the designs and evaluating the results of two notification experiences made by a biochemical private sector, demonstrating the feasibility of repeating and extending them.\nThis private biochemistry notification design, if extended, would allow to use qualified scientific personnel, contribute to make the health act more accessible and expand health information suitable for epidemiological surveillance of a broad sector whose data is lost; provided that the State assumes a central role in the health structure beyond changes of government.\nThe results of the thesis and the analysis of the main strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats in the experiences presented are such that allow to establish that the small-scale private agents of health can be part of a national information and healthcare system, managed by the government, and that its installed capacity should not be discard. |
