Sumario:This paper presents the technological and morpho-functional analyses of lithic artifacts and the identification of plant micro-remains on grinding and percussion tools, recovered at the multiple activity sites from Arroyo Saladillo archaeological locality. These contexts are located at the upper basin of the Quinto River, in Central-Eastern San Luis province and were dated to the Late Holocene, a period that in the Sierras Centrales region is characterized by the intensification and diversification in the use of resources and by flexible mobility patterns. The analyzed artifacts were part of a multiplicity of tasks within the archaeological contexts, focused on the need of fulfilling immediate activities. Likewise, the use of immediately available lithic raw materials and the processing of wild plant resources are observed. In addition, the presence of plant resources from outside the study area evidences the development of interaction networks between human groups.
