| Sumario: | Overview of the current state of the art of Chilean contemporary theater and about which are the actual themes; with special emphasis in the Bicentennial topic that from some years begins to occupy all areas of the theater spectrum and with all the kind of commemoration that this implies. At the same time, addresses and analyzes the social place where the theater is and its protagonists, opening a reflection on the value of the public image of actors an the social ascent in the society in general and in the state apparatus in particular, finally leading for a review of the current system of funding of the Chilean theater. |
