| Sumario: | At present, discussions about the role of the media as opinion makers play an important part on the social agenda. Two current argentine plays put this issue on stage. Both La persuasión and Reconstrucción frente al mar work with the revelation of the artifice as aesthetic and ideological principle, while criticizing at the same time the manipulation of events made by the media. In addition, both plays denounce, by using virtual reality and reconstruction, that stage fiction is just an extension of the fiction imposed on the daily lives of their audience. |
