Sumario:This article analyses The house of the Dead(La casa de los muertos, Minyana, 2002), drama which brings dramatic writing and poetry together, as several productions at the end of the twentieth century do. The relationship with verbal poetry shows a framework that restores orality to the word by creating the opportunity to glimpse/hear that margin almost unrecoverable of the live event from everyday speech. Its reading/staging requires a biological rhythm of breathing, someone who ritualices it with gestures, words and movements and opens to the passional experience that the text causes.
