Sumario:This work analyses the ethnographically experience of the urban public spot that the Afro-Uruguayan Candomble has done in Santa Fe and Parana practitioners. Based on such experiences, we deepen how they question the ways in which certain social and ethnic-racial categorisations constituted and at the same time, are constituted by special representations and hierarchies. In order to, the practitioner have structure features linked to historical city shape and they show us how that process could have been done in different urban spaces that inscribe and redefine negritude in and local geography. Furthermore, they expose how such questions about urban space generated rethinking of their own ethnic-racial identifications.
