| Sumario: | This article aims to show, from an ethnographic approach, the rural producers of jeans in San Mateo Ayecac, Tlaxcala, Mexico as rural subjects who manage their own precariousness and value in flexibility an opportunity to generate productive businesses on their own, making use of immediate resources: In this way, they assume the figure of owners and workers, at the same time, they incorporate the flexible and the precarious as a way of existence of long standing that affects their lifestyle, goes through a process of socialization and absorbs the conditions and organization of work.
