Sumario:The article analyzes from an ethnographic perspective how they have been interpreted and implemented in the field of public policies to protect children from the background: living in family and participation, in situations in which change in adults is evolving responsible for the children. In the light of the senses that construct the intended recipients of these policies, the hegemonic narratives built upon these outcomes and the effects of the orientations of these policies will be analyzed. The analysis is based on fieldwork carried out in the metropolitan area of Buenos Aires and consists of in-depth interviews of teenage young people going through the processes to which they will be responsible.
